Pinehurst is a small city in central Orange County, Texas, about twenty miles east of Beaumont in the Louisiana-border region of Southeast Texas. The community was platted in 1948 as Pinehurst Heights by the owners of a large tract, and residents voted to incorporate in 1955, establishing one of the county's smaller municipalities.
