Beach City is a city in western Chambers County, Texas, extending for about seven miles along the northwestern shore of Trinity Bay, the northern arm of the Galveston Bay complex. The 2020 census counted 3,221 residents. The community sits on Farm Road 2354, roughly eight miles southeast of Baytown, and its waterfront orientation gives it a distinctly coastal, outdoors-oriented character within the greater Houston region. The city is governed by a mayor and board of aldermen, and its setting blends bayfront lots, salt marsh, and coastal prairie.
